More comments about Turkey: Turkey was recently rebuffed by the European Community which it wishes to join. Turkey applied for admission and is miffed because former East Bloc nations are being admitted while Turkey is advised to wait. I think it is because of its human rights problems, particularly the Kurdish problem. The region of Kurdistan ranges through Turkey, Iraq, and Iran. Kurds have been trying to carve out their own homeland, but are actively and violently opposed by the host countries. One aspect that is in our (GRNO's) favor: Turkey is obviously not a democratic country as we picture democracy. If it is the government's decision to collect all the waste oil in the country and convert it to diesel, then that will be what it will do. It won't take 1 1/2 generations to accomplish something positive as it takes the US Congress. Charles
