After reading posts from the last 2 days I think that there are at least 2 areas that IOM must address to maintain momentum with comsumers.

1. The company must seriously look at the capacity/price issue. I agree that they may have been caught off guard by SparQ. Although quality may be questionable, the product apparently performs and is in stores. I think we now all know why there were some personnel defections early in the year. It seems to make sense for IOM to reposition (by price) its' products in the retail market place early in the first quarter, $149 Zip+ and $89-99 Zip as well as lower JAZ.

2. The Nomai thing may have gone further than IOM anticipated. They may have felt they were better protected by then they actually are, obviously this is not going to be a "slam-dunk" for IOM. They will have to be more careful about protecting their technology in the future, while still maintaining reasonable product compatibily and without penalizing earlier purchasers of their products.
