Thanks for the durable goods info, Baird. This is highly contradictory to what a lot of people are thinking in the market place (thought economy will be dragged down by Asia and earnings will be disappointing going forward). The Wall Street picture, to me, has changed again. Now what we got to worry may be inflation (hahahaha). Well, if Asia really damps inflation (I believe), the world will be perfect again - low inflation and strong growth. This will translate into flying stock valuation. Hope so.

Really, nobody has a crystal ball. What fears on the street may not be all correct. The best strategy in stock still seem to be buy and hold, Riding the ups and downs, giving up the short term guessing.

Just my uninvited and uneducated commentary.

Baird, broker Buy reco came from Southwest Securities, a non event. I think that the durable goods number was really a negative for us. The non-defense capital goods orders minus aircraft, which is a good indicator of business investment spending, fell 2.0%. That's after October's 2.1% decline.
