Let's see how Putin deals with ISIS now! Let's hope he goes full Afghanistan! I imagine he will. That would be his psychology. But Obama is sending in advisors. And that has its own dangers. Not that he had a lot of options, but sooner or later Republicans are going to ramp up their demands that we equip at least the Kurds with anti-aircraft munition because the Russians are targeting them with airstrikes. Of course, they will ignore the fact the Russians will not be happy with the Kurds downing their aircraft. Making US-Russian tensions even worse. A proxy war between the US and Russia becomes more likely.
