Nearly Half of ObamacareCo-Ops Have Failed
Expert: $1.1 billion in taxpayer dollars lost after 10 of 23 co-ops go out of business

In Sept, I found out on the web that my co-op would no longer offer insurance in my area come Jan 1. Three weeks later I got a letter from them to that effect with assurances I would be insured until Jan. Later (again on the web) I find out the state is shutting them down permanently STATE WIDE..........no notice from my coop. Last week, I (again on the web) find out that my co-op won't make it to Jan and I will have no insurance past Nov 30.........no notice from my co-op. .....finally today I get a letter (two of them in fact) from my co-op stating that my policy is two months past due and that they will suspend my coverage on Nov 24 if I do not pay within 30 days of this (predated) notice.................so if I pay, I am insured until Nov 30 ..... if not, I'm insured until Nov 24...........after Nov 30, I have no insurance...........what to do??.........gee.......I just won't sleep tonight.......maybe not tomorrow..................oh wait!!...... I see an urgent e-mail message for me from the NY State of Health .......LOG INTO THE NY STATE OF HEALTH WEBSITE TO SEE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR HEALTH COVERAGE.........I wonder what the hell that's all about???
