I remember when that "take back the board" comment surfaced. And I also remember fully agreeing with the sentiment. The vast majority of the posts made on the CCB board were by a handful of names that spouted nothing but atrocious insults, made up anything they thought might hurt CCB, and spewed such vile trash that the board was unreadable, hence the desire to "take back the board" to be used by legitimate CCB investors and those with an interest in finding out about the company. I think many of the current ZEN supporters are veterans of stockhouse, and seem to have brought that mindset to SI, much to our chagrin.
