Thank you for your response and the link. You are on my list<g>,but I am usually behind reading...
I hear all this stuff about financial problems in Asia. Almost all of the comments are general. Trying to put a handle on the magnitude...If Japan and China didn't have big problems, it would be hard to imagine the smaller economies of the region impacting US. This does not seem to be the case...WDIK.

Mohan, have you worked out a comparative Japan debt ratio to US? Its a tough number to come up with as savings are higher, though the instituions have done poorly with the savings.

Quite a selloff at the close.
