If the observations leaking out are true, the back half of the plane came apart explosively, and explosive residue is easy to test for if this was caused by explosives rather than the fuel tank etc.

Was there a bomb in the catering carts, as they interrogate the employees doing the catering and delivery?

Ireland is part of the investigation so in time we are sure to know the cause.
