Dean, Walsh Throw Fits over ‘Disappointing’ John Dickerson Pushing Dems on Radical Islam [UPDATED] Nearly a half-hour into Saturday’s Democratic presidential debate on CBS, frequent MSNBC guest and Salon writer Joan Walsh blasted moderator John Dickerson for merely asking a legitimate question to the candidates about whether or not the United States (and by extension, the West) is at war with “radical Islam.” While Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, and Bernie Sanders blew off Dickerson’s assertion and refused to call out our enemy for what it is, here’s the original question Dickerson posed to Clinton: Secretary Clinton, you mentioned radical Jihadists.
