Not THE pyramids. The FIRST Pyramid, the so-called "Step" pyramid, the purpose of which is not known. But it is an excellent example of where Carson's beliefs sound "out there," but it isn't unheard of for this to be suggested within religious circles. Is it true? Who the hell knows? But he clearly stated it as opinion and there is certainly no evidence to suggest the Step Pyramid was built for any other purpose. Politifact should rate it true. But they didn't.

It was not until the Age of Reason and into the consequent Age of Enlightenment that informed researchers dispelled the myth. ..and if the repubicans were ever to get there, they might realize they are thinking of nominating a crackpot for POTUS.. ...as it is, not much chance of that though...
