While it doesn't require you to be a scientist, you have a lot of science you need to know. Not a lot of science...... I knew a guy with a BS in Physics, no chem or bio applied to Med School and got in...... When I referred to good medicine men I intentionally did use the term Medical Doctors..... you will recall stories of such people making excellent corpsmen in war time.... My brother-in-law was a high school drop out but became a Marine corpsman in WWII and ultimately ran the Histology lab at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore... He took some course work along the way...
