You said: "I suppose without the Xenemetrix support GFI is kind of like a boat with only one oar. If a competitor of SICPA were to buy Xenemetrix they could really throw a wrench in SICPA's operation of the GFI Petromark system as the Xenemetrix spectrometers are used in the Petromark system."

In response to that, I was merely trying to make the point that I think you are overstating the importance of Xenometrics to GFI. There are several competitors that could analyze for the tracer compounds in fuels as well and I don't think it would be much of a "wrench in SIPCA's operation", but maybe a little hiccup, I have actually been worried that SIPCA might go out to solicit a more well established/well known XRF partner if there was no agreement for exclusive use of Xenomentrics. The fact that the first paragraph of the EUO news release highlights the exclusive agreement for Xenometrics shows this was a greater concern for Eurocontrol than it was for SIPCA, while the first refusal option just gives SIPCA a little reciprocal protection IMO....as a change in control of Xenometrics could also be a bit disruptive to GFI. Ultimately however, GFI is more important to Xenometrics than Xenometrics is to GFI.

In any case, the potential for SIPCA to use another XRF analyzer was a major concern I have been pondering over the past several weeks, so I breathed a sigh of relief when I read these strong terms of exclusivity in the first paragraph of the PR:

As a key part of the transaction, the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xenemetrix Ltd. ("Xenemetrix") has agreed to enter into a strategic exclusive long-term supply, maintenance and support agreement (the "Supply Agreement"), pursuant to which Xenemetrix would continue to supply to GFI, and GFI would continue to purchase, Xenemetrix's products and services currently used by GFI in its business, in each case, on an exclusive basis within the oil and gas marking and monitoring field of GFI's current operations.

In any case, this should be fun for us Monday! .....and I hope Authentix sees this as a threat to their bread and butter and makes a counter offer.....then things could get really fun!

Have a good weekend!
