<<<< He does not think in the simple terms you assign to him>>>

But that's the whole point - he does! Whenever an economy isn't doing well his suggestion is that the government step in and pick up the slack. And if that doesn't work he suggest more stimulus yet and if that doesn't work he says it is because government didn't stimulate enough. THAT's it, that is always his suggestion. ...........And he is right - obviously - if you dump extra money into an economy that will help stimulate the economy. Kind of like DUH. ..........BUT there are always down sides. ALWAYS. ................And I don't think i am thinking in simple terms. What I am arguing is that by oversimplifying Krugman refuses to look at the complications of natural resources depletion and demographics and natural cycles in an economy. None of these other issue are simple koan. If you think I am wrong Koan give me an example of the following;

1) Specifically, when has Krugman argued that we don't need to stimulate.
2) When has Krugman ever argued that now is the time to pay down some of that borrowing he is always arguing for.
3) Name me one economy in the world that Krugman has said they got it right (or stimulated too much).

Remember koan, I argued Obama had the stimulus about right. I'm NOT against stimulating. We are not arguing about stimulating, I am arguing against reckless forever stimulating as a way to run an economy. Krugman said if we followed Obama's plan we were headed to a Depression because it wasn't big enough. Krugman wanted one three times larger!!
