Great video. Do right wingers lie or just have perversely bad memories? I'm sorry to say that it seems more likely the former. Carson hasn't even been touched yet and he's screaming "liberal media"! This is right up there with screaming "Racism"; pure BS meant to distract from damaging information. I think "high tech lynching" comes next (Fiorina has already screamed "sexism", LOL. Obama didn't play this game.

I saw a stat the other day... when Mitt Romney put his dog in a crate and drove him on top of his car during a family vacation, it was mentioned in more than 2,000 articles and hundreds of times on network news shows. When Obama admitted that he actually ATE DOGS, it was mentioned fewer than 100 times.

So it's not that these items aren't being uncovered for all the candidates, it's the degree to which the liberal media focuses on them if the candidate is republican.

I did watch the video and I repeat the statement that the media never disclosed this bio until after he had been office a couple years.

This is not about birtherism. This is about why did the man lie? And isn't it a far bigger lie than Ben Carson saying he was offered a scholarship when in fact he "informally" offered a scholarship? It is a lie, on Obama's part, if true would be a disqualifying attribute. Should the media have not found and disclosed this BEFORE he was elected? I think so.

As to the video it was humorous. But it didn't reflect "news". It is apparent that if one digs one can put together a string of comments by news hosts where various items are mentioned. But how often, with what kind of commentary, and how seriously were the unedited clips presented? This context matters.

Did any of them consume a three or four day span of back-to-back news coverage? No. Not even close.

I don't know if Carson is damaged by this, I suspect he is. But there can be no doubt what the intent was. The CNN interview and the absolute incompetence of Politico were bad enough; but then, the entire media ran with the stories when there was no truth at all to support the claims.

When the facts came out, Carson's claims were pretty much exactly as stated. Yet, only conservative papers have admitted it. NYT, WaPo, etc., are still running stories claiming he lied, and citing statements of truth as proof.

It is media malpractice if ever there were any.
