TopCat, Why would it be necessary to pay someone under the table? Is it because they are an ILLEGAL alien? Because it's cheaper and less hassle. The employer doesn't want to deal with all of that crap. He or she just needs someone to do the job. Sure, people need to follow the rules, but when the rules themselves become incredibly cumbersome, the temptation to break them becomes too great. Funny how liberals talk about the growing divide between rich and poor, because it's the rules that they love which is causing it. Tenchusatsu
