Report on the Veridicom scanner . . .

In a syndicated article in the Raleigh (N.C.) News and Observer, which stated that "Veridicom, a subsidiary of Lucent Technologies, expects its stamp-sized fingerprint readers will be incorporated in Keytronics keyboards early next year" with the price expected to drop from its present $395 to $100.

Recall two points: (1) Fowler has said he'd be happy to incorporate this kind of hardware with IDX technology and (2) NRID has a deal with Keytronics.

Hey! Seimens Nixdorf! Don't they sell equipment for nuclear and conventional power plants? That means that Identix will soon safeguard every power plant that Seimens sells equipment to. Got to love those velvet coattails!
