But you said we have to have millions of illegals to work in the fields. Maybe you meant the marijuana fields. I'm reading a book about Alger Hiss ... there's a mention of Hiss's wife reaction in the 1930's when someone wished her a good day. She snapped back, "It's never a good day for the sharecroppers in Oklahoma!" Those were the days when progressives pretended to be compassionate toward Okies ... and Arkies, Texans, West Virginians, Kentuckians, etc etc etc. Just like they pretend to be compassionate toward others today. It's all a pose, then and now.
