I think this is a wise move by both companies. It opens the door for competition or closes the chapter.

We'll see what transpires and it removes the "MLNX/EZCH mgmts are colluding against shareholders" dogma.

A small "victory" for the time being but unfortunately this would not appear to leave the door open to keep the company independent. Also, it is still not clear that this was the right time to shop the company and EZ's push (all the doom and gloom in it's press releases) to get this deal done may significantly limit the possibility of selling the company at a higher price.

I know it won't likely happen, but I think EZ's shareholders deserve a conference call, not necessarily to discuss any merger related business, but to give an update on the last quarter and the progress that continues to be made with NP5 and NPS.

All in all, still was a pleasant surprise to awake (I'm on the west coast) to this news today.
