All: We know IOM is looking for MR engineers.
This makes me believe IOM is behind in removable
MR technology versus SYQT and Castlewood. Of
course we do not know what IOM has brewing in
their R&D lab. But given IOM's history of
announcing products before they are shipping
furthers my believe they are behind the MR
technology curve. The industry is moving to
MR because it allows more storage per dollars
in manufacturing cost. So this makes me believe
the MR drives from SYQT and Castlewood probably
has a cost advantage over the JAZ line. IOM is
the undisputed leader in removable technology.
And its not a good sign for the leader to be
falling behind, technology wise. IF this is
the case perhaps IOM should buy Castlewood. Get
instant MR technology, and with the ORB drive
IOM would simply kill SYQT's SparQ drive. Since
Castlewood is a small private company it shouldn't
cost too much to buy.

OT: I get the feeling everyone on this trend is
overweighted in tech stocks. Hopefully some of
you have notice there is a sector shift afoot.
Money is flowing into utilities. With all the
volatility and high valuations in the general
market perhaps you may want to look into
utilities. Just a thought.
