570-632 CE for Islam- right? So it's a younger religion, by at least 1/2 a millennia. I certainly don't defend it, because I think religions are madness, but Christianity and Judaism have had a lot more time to get through their growing pains, their "enlightenments"- you realize the enlightenment was in the 17th and 18th century- which was only 300 or 400 years ago- so in another 100 years maybe the Islamic world will get theirs- if they're running the same chronology as the West.
