I am not advocating telling anyone they're fucked up. I know the reality as well as you do.

But on the other hand I have never believed it serves to feed rational liberals bullshit and to deny reality. Look at the firestorm Maher gets (from liberals) every time he just tries to tell the truth.

I am only talking to liberals and no one else. They are the only ones I am trying to convince.

My answer has been the same for a long time. Educate the people and especially the girls. If liberals think only a few radicals are the cause then that will, and has determined foreign and defence policy e.g. war and things like drone strikes.. Look at all the dumb ass drone strikes that achieve nothing except to create more radical behavior.

However if liberals face the reality that the problem is a 7th century culture, and the problem is mainstream (that even Malala alludes to in her book) then any rational person will understand the only way to solve the problem is a liberal arts education and so support putting billions in schools instead of war.

Schools are my answer and only answer and always has been. I know only too well you cannot teach a concept to someone who is not prepared to understand it.

Knowledge directed perception "one cannot see something they do not understand". That is the thesis of my philosophy regarding everything we need to know.

You know, we are on the edge of being able to clamp a 24/7 surveillance necklace on everyone, maybe its time to do that. Screw privacy....

The amount of $ societies could save in terms of police/armies would be quite significant. Plus it would actually be a very positive significant help in medical emergencies.

The older generations, especially of Americans would have fits, but the younger ones would like think it cool. The necklace could have the compute power for all there mobile toys, and they'ed be pleased as could be.
