Regrettably, religion is one of the biggest impediments to dealing with climate change. All conservative religious individuals KNOW that the weather (they don't know the difference between weather and climate!) is the domain of God, and when man is so impudent that he thinks he either affects the weather or even worse, can control the weather, it is the same sin as those wicked people who built the Tower of Babel were engaged in: Trying to be Gods! Therefore, humans can't be affecting the weather (or climate) and all talk about doing anything about AGW is evil, so we must not go there...
