There is a difference between trading and investing, you know it and I know it, right? Agreed, I was under the impression that you were only a trader, not an investor as well. Sorry for my misunderstanding. I do agree that different situations call for different tactics and that each person is unique in their trading style... this is part of what makes the market. It's supposedly illegal to paste copywritten articles to discussion forums, too...but we all do this. I thought email would be less visible if that was your concern. I did provide the link to the Infonetics report in the first post that I mentioned the statistics. I believe I have the actual report archived at the Fool...I'll look for it tonight -- we should trade. It is illegal to copy an article verbatim. I suspect it's also illegal to post them here as well. Here is an excerpt from the terms of use:The following actions, among others, may result in removal of messages and/or termination of your membership: .... 2.Posting material, non-public information about companies, without the authorization to do so. 3.Including third-party copyrighted information in posted messages. If such information is available on the Web, please post a link to such information rather than copying it into messages. Since Vertical's information isn't available on the web then I can't help you. You mentioned that Del Oro, Dataquest, and Infonetics information is available on the web. That's great information! Do you have those sites? I'd like to take a look. That wasn't supposed to be a serious post...I just turned it around on you -- my comments were just as fictional and misinformed as yours. Fictional? I simply posted the stock activity for the day and for the year of CSCO, ASND and CYMI? How is that fictional? I'm confused. Style, I'm struggling to find some common ground. Every time I read one of your responses I think we're finally getting past personalities, but then you relapse into making erroneous statements meant only to take personal shots? How is providing the results of the day's trading activity fictional? If you wouldn't make comments like this we'd be able to move beyond this useless banter. As for your success of lack thereof in the market; you are right, I haven't a clue as to your trading success any more than you have of mine. I have no doubt that you have had some successes as have I. Now lets share what we know to be successful (or not), and move beyond misleading, misinformed, unsubstantiated commentary intended merely to incite others. I know you must agree with this and it shouldn't require any further discussion.
