All of the religions exalt "believing" and reject free thinking- because free thinkers have doubt, and don't leave all their money to a church. It's true that Islam- like orthodox Judaism, Mormonism and Christianity- has some very problematic tenets regarding women- but it's not like you're going to convince religious believers with logic- that's why they're "the faithful"- they don't do logic. I wish there were no religions, and that all people were rational, but that's not going to happen, and it just pisses off the religious if you call them on their weirdness.
