I think you've started drinking early today. "I don't think Leviticus is unreadable ...." There are a lot of books in the Bible, if you don't get something out of one, try another.

don't think Leviticus is unreadable, how about you.....Funny you should mention, for just attempted to read that very book today. But this droning on about which side of a stone altar to burn the goat's entrails on left me incredulous. Unbelievable that educated people today cannot see these are nothing but ramblings of ancient goat herders pretending themselves connected to heaven, for land claiming, crowd control & home grown tribal priest's brand of inciting ancient genocide & Holy War.

Let political correctness be damned..... If one really wanted to attack ISIL's ideology, doesn't take much scholarship to undermine their religion theology & scripture first. These absolutely faked histories & phony Abrahamic tribal nonsense, especially the Exodus which never happened at all. If one proves the Biblical accounts false, so then the Qur'an, so undermine & completely expose it. If any developed the Ten Commandments first it was the ancient Egyptians and so were their ancient psalms stolen. Its very telling & obvious then why ISIL wants to destroy ancient historical heritage sites & sack/vandalize the great museums of Syria & Iraq. Their religion is founded on the illiterate prophet's BS to begin with so undermine that, its very easy to do.
