Maybe they're your prophets & myth heros, messengers, they're not mine. I am born into a Greco/ Roman culture, look everywhere about you, even to the architecture of our state buildings. Our founding fathers who's intelligence, strength, conviction & courage I admire, we're all educated in the classics of the enlightenment. Want to pray or give thanks, pray & give thanks for that. Again, if you want to undermine ISIL, my suggestion is damn political correctness & start undermining the myths, fables & fake history proposed by their religion. I count seven major prophets & over a dozen so mythological figures Adam, Methuselah, Noah, Enoch, Lot , Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, David, Solomon, Ezekiel, and Jesus. Off the top of my head, I believe Noah and the flood are referenced. Legends of a great, world-wide flood are very common throughout the region and history. You can find an account in the epic of Gilgamesh, for example. But that is far from the only example. The broad outline is the same, a man inspired by his god to build a great boat to same a population of people and animals that seed the new world after the old one is destroyed, but the details differ.

I'm still reeling over the recent incident weeks back where nearly 1000 'pilgrims' at the Hajj in Mecca were trampled to death in another stampede there. What does the world do, but ignore this. In what world do you ignore this? Incredible such a thing goes unnoticed in the 21rst century. Its always at the 'Satan Stone' where they are required to throw 23 stones at a rock that represents satan? Unbelievable. (Maybe the correct GOP world we can ignore?)
