This is a guess-----------there was a wave of Syrian immigrants previously. I do know of some in
the medical professions who were educated in Syria and then came to America in this area. They had
to take more hours in America to get certified.

The most frustrating thing about these states refusing Syrians is that if only ONE state takes them, they can simply migrate anywhere they want once they are here. They will be free once on US soil. California's Brown-spot in Sacramento is all for it and as usual, bringing them in - and he will no doubt be there until he dies. He's been in California government his whole life.
