I still own the stock because this little company did so much, so many cool things it must come good, someday/somehow - be it its acquisition or a realisation to FOCUS. It morally deserves long-term mass-absorbtion into the market and psyche of IT - but not via generic OA tools.

What does anyone mean by 'ideology'? Mainframe > PC was cost-driven, no dreams or trends involved; pretty simple. Mainframe/Super-Mini costs are now pretty realistic - no ideology or inevitiably involved back in the 80s re: PC evolution on the desktop - 3270 vs CGA>EGA>VGA (wow!); more a case of IBMs arrogance and dumbness re: this kid called Gates - so ...

... hence my previously cited arguments questioning the basis re: their (IBM) false basis for touting eSuite/NCs/et al and pacts with 'friends' such as Oracle, Sun. Watch that pack of cards fall, big-style in '98 - especially now Oracle has caught Asian-flu and better damn well FOCUS - else Larry may have to sell his MIG.

Back to the Chablis ... Best Wishes, all ...
