There are guesses, and then there are guesses. Making a guess as to the final tally of an event that has already occurred
(e.g. total warrants converted) is one thing, and I believe to be a harmless passtime. There is nothing anyone can say or do to change its outcome now. It's a finalized event. We just don't know what
the exact nature of that event is.
On the other hand, when someone begins prognasicating about events that have not yet occurred or which are still in the making, then I agree that simple guesses are a pox on the thread. But I won't come down too hard on people who make them occasionally. If they become a real nuisance, then I'll start to complain. George
