Jlallen,
Trump is not my first choice...but really ANY one of the GOP candidates is leaps and bounds above the mean old drunk lady and Crazy Bernie....
I tried very hard not to fall into the trap of "Well I'm supporting so-n-so because any Democrat would be worse," because that's what usually leads to mediocre candidates and more partisan politics, which this country really doesn't need more of. Plus I really did not like jumping onto the right-wing bandwagon that, among other things, calls Obama a "foreign-born Muslim" who wants to destroy America. Up until now, I regarded that as immature demagoguery that exploits prejudice and justifies the left playing the race card over and over again.

And finally, I have several disagreements with Trump, including his views on Mexican immigration and that comment he made about Bush and 9/11. Plus I don't like his big mouth, even bigger ego, and his incredibly thin skin.

But after watching Obama come unhinged in the wake of the ISIS crisis, I really don't see any other hope in stopping his agenda than to back Trump. Because you KNOW that both Hillary and Bernie will continue this train wreck of a foreign policy, and you KNOW that they will continue to breed the kind of political correctness that is now choking free speech these days, especially in college campuses.

There are way too many alarming trends in our society for me to ignore.
