Eric: Have you ever been a previous AAPL owner ? Just curious if the up coming 1/6/98 MacWorld-Jobs had anything to do with your decision to buy AAPL ? BTW: In July/August '97 when AAPL sold off in the low $13ish area and then jumped to high $20ish area did you ever think you'd see $13ish again ? BTW #2: If my memory is right didn't that summer '97 AAPL sell off happen due to earnings woes coupled with Jobs selling his shares (except one share) ?

BTW #3: I think a 40k plus AAPL trade kicked this stock below $13. Any thoughts ?

Thanks

Eric,

I'm in for a meeting in SF. Don't know where I'll be staying, probably trying to do the "stay with old college buddies thing." There's a great divey little Scottish bar not far from Moscone called Edinburgh Castle, or something like that. Past couple of years I've met some friends there. Near Moscone, but not full of schmoozing reps and other tradeshow vermin. A number of good beers, too.

I'll find the address if anyone's interested. We should probably try Tuesday or Wednesday around six or seven (after exhibits close, before VAR reseller parties start.) The keynote's Tuesday, right?

Anyone interested please email me at dirk1@home.com.
