I studied Stats with a Blechley Park Prof in the mid 70s. You can have Stats say anything.

Thanks for the reference. Probability and Statistics in college---------then there is The History of Mathematics
by Joseph Banks. Taught by a French woman-----she required it of all math and engineering majors.

Madame Grenard------she was brilliant.

The book by Banks goes back to the early Egyptians counting the stars as a part of their system.
The early Egyptians could count to a million----above a million they 'threw up all 10 fingers and decried
-------Too Much"

Obama obviously did not study the history of mathematics at Harvard or in Indonesia or Hawaii.
