I couldn't agree more, slowmo. Life in civilization reaches new lows each and every day. The scope of the mounting problems simply beyond words. We're in a massive population bubble (as GZ posted early), as well as a colossal debt bubble, and a stupidity bubble. One can literally feel the population swelling, the debt bubble expanding, and the stupidity bubble inflating. This sums up one particular aspect of the many problems facing civilization -- the race card! Problem: A Black student is in danger of failing a college math class. Solution: Claim that the professor is a racist. Result: The student passes the college math class, and he receives a personal apology from the president of the college and a large financial settlement from the institution. The professor and his immediate supervisor are terminated. Problem: A Black loan applicant is denied a loan. Solution: Claim that the bank and loan officer are racists. Result: The loan is quickly approved at the lowest possible interest rate, and the applicant receives a personal apology from the bank president and a large financial settlement from the bank. The loan officer and his immediate supervisor are terminated. Problem: A Black felon is arrested for multiple rapes and homicides across the city. Solution: Claim that the arresting police officer and entire police force are racists. Result: All charges against the felon are dismissed, and he receives a personal apology from the mayor and a large financial settlement from the city. All officers who were involved are terminated, along with their immediate supervisor. With lucrative outcomes like these, I would scream "racism" every day too, all day long! -nfg-
