The "dumb things" were exclusively religious in nature.

No they aren't. He has said a lot of things that have nothing to do with religion and everything to do with reality. Like the Chinese being "in" Syria. There is nothing in the Bible about that. Now he later backtracked and claimed that because the Chinese have sold stuff to Syria, that means there are "in" Syria. Which is nonsense. When the phrase "that country is in another" is used, it is only used in a military sense. It doesn't mean there are Chinese restaurants in Syria. It doesn't mean the Chinese sell stuff to Syria. It means they have a military presence.

Which they don't.

The so-called "lies" all turned out not to be lies at all.

Not true. Now there have been several things that no one has been able to verify because there isn't enough information given to verify them. When Carson has been asked to provide more information, he has refused to do so. Given that he is the only source, yet refuses to give more information to verify it, means it is pretty safe to view it as a lie instead of the truth. Especially since those things are part of the bedrock on which he has built a multi-million dollar empire.
