YOU don't rely on your own solar .. you remain hooked up to the grid. So YOU don't consider it reliable enough to depend entirely on it. Norway ( home of Norsk Hydro) is almost all hydropower and tide. It's a shame greens are barring any more dams and trying to remove many of the ones we have.
