Even worse. They tend to confuse climate with weather at a particular place, at a particular time.

Currently, we're on track to beat the previous warmest year, which ended roughly 11 months and 24 days ago, by quite a bit.

They like to claim a cooling trend. However, to do that, they studiously ignore the fact that virtually every year has been a record high or near it. Comes from taking a record year, like 1998 as their base line. Which is either pretty stupid or disingenuous. For some, like Sgdla, I am willing to go with stupid. For others...
