<Initial communications with the ORBCOMM satellites are proceeding as expected. Over the next several weeks, Orbital engineers will continue to conduct on-orbit tests to determine the post-launch state-of-health of each spacecraft and to make final adjustments to their orbital positions using small on-board thrusters. The satellites are expected to be placed into commercial service in approximately 90 days, increasing the ORBCOMM system's coverage from about 8% of the day that a satellite is immediately available to transmit data messages to about 40% of the day.>
