I worked at a sign company for a while. Once, the owners son and I were hanging an electric sign over the entrance to a shop. He got a little too horizontal on his ladder, and fell about 8 feet onto a concrete sidewalk on his side. He was in a body cast for a long time, with his pelvis, leg and several ribs broken.

I hope your fall wasn't that bad.
