If this person has worked in fast food for 18 years and is only making $8, there is a lot more to this story. I don't know how someone could screw up that badly if they tried. Seriously.

There is, simply put, no way a person could be really trying and do that. Median hourly wage is 9 bucks meaning half make more. If you've been working diligently for 18 years and are still in the lower half it is simply because you are a lousy worker.

Such a person would almost assuredly end up unemployed if minimum wage is increased to $15.
