For several years I was a libertarian.

The position was against bankruptcy -

CONTRACTS SHOULD BE HONORED.

The conservatives at Cato rail against what they see as incentives for personal bankruptcy.

And lets not get started on Trump's related use of eminent domain to take private property. What libertarians see as thievery Trump's followers now see as "winning." Wonder what your tent thought when Trump was not a Republican.

Suddenly, Trump has made bankruptcy and using other "laws" like eminent domain for profits - now a conservative cause in that world.

Talk about confirmation bias... and hypocrisy.
