Just watched this program on the good old state propaganda channel ... the BBC... the catchup iplayer version.

newyorker.com

Its really good. Insightful even, and the backdrop is the banking system we have... and the UK arms industry.

Makes us in the West look like silly billies I am afraid, but maybe that's what we need understand. Quite revealing. It also gives a indication of what Wahhabism is all about.

theguardian.com

What the dumbchit reviewers miss entirely about the film, and it really is well portrayed, is that the UK has been gutted as an economic entity and is utterly dependent on selling arms to places like Saudi Arabia, and uses corrupt methods to do so. The bankers screw everything up ever more. That is very well portrayed and the film ensures, the problem is not seen as just "Afghanistan." How these reviewer fuks missed all that and call themselves journalists, I just don't know. Emma Grayham Harrison may have spent four years in Afghanistan, has a doubled barreled yuppie name, but she doesn't have a clue what the film is really about in my view. They try and bury the film buy saying its "simplistic". LOL as if any current newspaper or TV news isnt ten time more barren of any worthwhile content. Its all white hats versus black hats as in any B&W Regan cowboy b movie.

The documentary is all about what a pile of crap the West has become. It's falling in on itself and any advice from the West is quite rightly rejected by the Afghanistan tribes as we know jack chit about anything except how to blow things up and destroy countries, and create fiat money by private institutions to rob our own citizens .

We need to clean up our own mess first before we can tell the folks in Afghanistan, Irag, and Syria what to do with their countries. Instilling democracy in our own countries instead of the current farcical banker governments would be a good place to start.

Just my view. I needed a bit of a rant after watching that.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. -g-
