Google has a search that investors can tap into . The link is for washing machines . Inquiries are down over 50 % from 2004 . Shows the drop in consumer interest very well . My understanding is that consumer sentiment is better at forecasting a down turn than the up . As your chart is moving higher cons. interest in washing machines is going lower .
