I agree, these are going to very difficult for AMD to produce in their
.25um "pilot line" ... this could be another "black eye" for AMD.

Considering that even K6-233 is performing better than the hypothetical P55-MMX-266 on business application, you seem to be very correct here.

As far as "multimedia" concerns, a Pentium-233 notebook seems be a little pricey as a CD-music player for business trips....
