Good to see you back, Maurice.

Yeah, while we daydream about dancing with the stars - and keep borrowing a couple of millions a minute or so to help us make ends meet - the world is getting crazier.

Interesting point about China possibly trying to buy from Russia parts of Siberia. In the article (which I link) they see the implications are generally negative - but who knows... Maybe they'll find a constructive way of working things out. There doesn't seem to be very much information about this, but apparently there was going on, for some decades, a significant migration of Chinese across the border into Russia.

Welcome back, Mq.

Barbara Tuchman in her magisterial Stillwell and the American Experience in China brilliantly stated the obvious: History is the unfolding of miscalculation. I would be harsher: History is the unfolding of folly.

For those who can see, miscalculations and folly abound.

Let Zbig go, he'll never again exert an ounce of power. Neither will his daughter, though she has some journalistic integrity.

6 years later = years of Mostly Peaceful Trump have been and gone. Now murderous maniacal evil harpie witch Victoria Nuland rides again. Doom on a biblical scale is locked, loaded, and American MADmen keep on pressing, after stealing the election from Trump.

What you wrote Mq remains correct.

While the election was stolen, there was certainly not 75% vote for Trump and probably not 60% of legitimate votes. It might have been barely more than 50%, so it's pretty much fair to say Americans will get what they deserve, especially since they voted in droves, twice, for Obama, Clinton, Kerry, Nuland et al. And for Bush before Obama.

They could have voted for Ron Paul and Rand Paul. Or somebody else.

What they will get is nuclear war. That's because Russia is much too weak to hold off nearly a billion Americans and Euroserfs so they will have to go MAD as in Mutual Assured Destruction.

1812, Crimean war, WWI, Barbarossa ... they have seen it before.

Americans have a Russia Russia Russia insanity.

Your only hope is to get to the 2022 Congressional elections, replace most of them, impeach Biden and Harris, pass a presidential early election law, stop the MADness.

Unfortunately, it seems you don't have that long. Maybe a well -regulated militia will have to take over and have a Big Reset. Elections in person, on the day.

Or something.

It's crazy to have dementia Joe, cackling Kamala, harpie Nuland, mad Milley, diversity hire Austin, bumbling Blinken and co in charge. But fitting for the end of the world.

There are some sensible people. Scott Adams for example agrees with me that Russia is naturally an ally. Trump is generally reasonable.

I wonder whether this one will be my last post.

Mqurice

Cherchez la Brzezinski. He wants war with Russia to avenge his family against Stalin. Stalin died many decades ago. So did nearly all those who acted for him. Zbig is still fighting the USSR quarter of a century after it ceased to exist and 30 years since Gorby ended the MADness. Zbig's a one-trick pony.
That was a super opening to a great post, Mq.

People seldom analyze the potential pathological influence old family and tribal mythologies can have on future generations. I posted something on this subject just yesterday.

Descendants of emigres from other countries are for some reason often presumed to have some kind of special insight about those countries. That’s how a dumb clown like Lt.Col. Windman ends up being an “expert” on Ukraine - where he was born - and from where he emigrated as a small child. Zbig also [somewhat] belonged to the same category. At least, he left Poland as a teenager.
