I saw the same thing with Packard Bell units, same stores, same region. Compaq is selling well also, but the out of stock issue is not unique to Compaq.

this is the bad news of not enough inventory....
this guy may not wait..
cpq knows this and strives to load up in nov. and dec. to ensure stk on hand.
the real analyst know this is the thing to do.
an talk of cpq is stuffing or inventory is high is from idiots and people who have shorted cpq 4 months ago and need to cover.
