You could consider dollar cost averaging over the next 5 or 6 months in equal chunks......Some money gets good returns while other may get better returns....or you can lose it all.

Of course, I recommend a diversified portfolio....read:
suite101.com
with no more than 5% in any one stock on a cost basis unless you are talking about a company you work for and can't unload fast enough as it goes up.
