Actually you just engaged in a hyperbolic metaphor to me by stating "I was worried Sanders was a commie".

It was meant to be insulting, did not add to the debate about the topic and was personal in nature. So, as far as I'm concerned you're just another phony baloney liberal who's fair game to be treated the same way.

Good luck on this thread pretending to be a victim. LOL

Note that I do not engage in name calling or hyperbolic metaphor about any posters here.

Not individually, just collectively via the groups many belong to and identify with ... namely the GOP and NRA. As a group, you said they were to blame for the killings in CO Springs. Worse, you said the killings were porn for these groups who were pleasuring themselves over them.

I repeat - this sounds like hateful partisan rhetoric, demagoguery and demonization to me:

GOP is in major damage control mode over their hateful anti Planned Parenthood rhetoric.

Not that different from their words about ISIS.

They are part of the
blame for this killing.

As is the fascist NRA. This gun killing vs. the Jack Booted Thugs and "baby parts industry" is porn for them and they don't want us to see them pleasuring themselves so they will remain locked in their palace.

If this happened close to the election, the Republicans would be very sorry. For now, its damage control and a change in their messages - a solvable PR problem to them.

You are very sensitive, from a crowd that rails against PCness of liberals.

I don't think so, I exchange posts with more offensive people than you a lot.

Debate the topic, personally attacking an adversary who does not personally attack you is self-defeating.

What was your topic?

attacking the sincerity of Sander's supporters just partisanship, not constructive dialogue.

Wasn't it that we here should respect the sincerity of Sanders and his supporters? Evidence that you engage in exactly the sort of partisan demonizing behavior you accuse people here of is relevant on that point, isn't it?

Too bad, could have been interesting.

It has been.

Less Than Half of Liberals Support Resettling Syrian Refugees in US

[ Since a majority of liberals actually agree with the conservative position, wouldn't not bringing in Syrian refugees be something thinking liberals could be bipartisan on? ]

Only 20 percent of liberals believe Obama is winning the war on ISIS
November 29, 2015
Daniel Greenfield

The media is doubling down on its Syrian refugees shrieking. It repeats the same thing in a thousand columns, cartoons and editorials. But as any refugee from a Communist country will tell you, the propaganda machine shrieks loudest when it knows that public support is weakest. It's not a sign of strength when ridiculous and obscene Holocaust memes are taken out of the box or when there is a pretense of total support for a position. It's a sign of panic.

In my last poll analysis, I noted that opposition to the Syrian migrants, the majority of whom are not persecuted Christians and Yazidis, but members of the Sunni Muslim majority, was strongest in the Northeast.

This McLaughlin poll shows how weak support for resettlement is even among self-identified liberals. Liberals are still more likely to support it than anyone else, but their support is ridiculously weak.

69 percent of liberals admit immigration from the Middle East is dangerous. It's at 75 percent among Democrats.

Only 48 percent believe there's a moral duty to resettle tens of thousands of Syrians in America. 36 percent oppose. 18 percent just opt out.

Among Democrats the split is 38 yes to 39 no. Hispanic say no by a 50 to 32 percent margin. Black people say no by 37 to 35 percent. They're the greatest source of support for a Syrian bailout, likely because of lockstep support for Obama. White opposition is at 61 to 22 percent.

66 percent of liberals endorse safe havens for Syrians in their own country and region. As do 70 percent of Dems.

Only 20 percent of liberals believe Obama is winning the war on ISIS. 55 percent say he isn't.
