David, SDII is a great 50% Gains pick. Numbers say it should be trading around 40 now with room to move to 50 by late 1998.

Now the hard part: why isn't it trading at 40? I don't know this industry or SDII's competition. If you have some more background, I'd love to hear it before I jump in.

Is SDII affected by the decision to let people switch off airbags? Presumably not because the airbag still has to be installed. But declining consumer acceptance doesn't help the perception of a company's growth prospects.

Any idea what's happening to SDII today? BTW, this is why I have sworn off all long positions until January.

SDII has a PE of 20 and projected growth of 24% (S&P) and is trading near its target price.
