Brent, you have come across as the "handsom hunk" you sarcastically tell us you are. I picture you as a "Pat Riley" type of GQ guy that uses only the very best mousse! That's why I called you "lover boy" a few posts back. I hope you asked that I not let you wife know I called you that because she would be jealous and not because she didn't know!

I think you would like me better if you ever knew me in person. I am funny most of the time and people do enjoy having me around, I think! I agree that sometimes things do not "sound" the same when you read them as opposed to hearing them.

I have the same type of problem with Pierre that you're having with me. Almost everything I say apparently annoys you and that is my problem with Pierre. It's a difference in style! You don't like my style and I don't like Pierre's style and the snowball just grows. I show my forceful disposition in my posts to him by reacting instead of responding and that seems to cause the heat to go up on this thread.

Thank God for Count Gold.....he seems to be the one person that can come on and translate for us what's happening in "adult" terms. Now, children, calm down!

So I would like to take this opportunity to express my apology to each of you if I have caused you discomfort. At such a meaningful time of year, if Christ is kept on the outside, there's something wrong on the inside. God's love is persistent but never pushy. The first step in receiving God's forgiveness is to admit that we need it. I admit that I need it and ask Him, here and now, to forgive me if I have allowed my conduct be unworthy of Him.

I will commit to attempt to express myself in a more loving demeanor, if you will commit to attempt to hear my words in a more understanding tone! How's that?

If you are going to stay involved in this stock, and you know that I'm going to stay involved in this stock, then today needs to be the day that we acknowledge the necessity for tolerance and understanding from everyone on this thread, both short and long. Fair enough?

In light of this new understanding and commmitment, I've prepared a card to all on this thread. Christmas is a day for hope, a day for joy and singing. May you rejoice in all the love of our Savior! Treasure the magical moments of Christmas all year!

May He fill each day of your life with His love.

Merry Christmas!

Brent....Small things affect small minds.
I might be wrong (magic disclaimer; covers everything) BUT, for a "handsom hunk" you are probably one of the nicest old ladies i have ever met.
