Which shows that that there is really only one party in control of this country. This so-called partisan gridlock is pure theater.

"It should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime."

I don't get hedge language like this in an official document, "It should be the policy. . ." It needs to be "It will be," or "It is now."
